Luck, really. xD I saw your ad at the RPGC just before some new ads were piled on top of it. Since I adore the Tortall books, I clickethed the link. =]

Yuurp, RPGC got me here too. I'm one of those losers who reads every single ad that goes up there, and I was like, wow, a Tortall RPG! So I checked it out, aaaaand... here I am.

RPGC. Actually, I was looking for an RP and Odette replied with this site's ad. Needless to say my search is complete.

I was looking through the RPG-Directory. Corus seemed to have a nice story (I was surprised I actually read some of these books XD), few members (for the strangest reason, I like new sites...o.o) and, after reading everything there is to read in here, here I am.

XD I found this from HTGD.. (which EVERYONE needs to check out by the way. *wink*) and because I follow Our great god around like a lost puppy... *drools on her leg*

Hmm, let's see. I came back from a long absence to discovery that my rp site was dead. Sehr dead. And the C-Box was filled up with some sort of ramblings about "TP" and forums. I think I heard the words Tortall and Corus mentioned, but I'm not sure. That was when I noticed the spiffy new button in the affiliates bar.

I started poking around... after I read the bit about homosexuality being frowned upon, I had a thought bubble about making a highly insecure and secretive gay guy, but upon poking around further and discovering that half of the character on the site at the time were bi, I decided against it. Which is when I noticed that there were three Rogues and no Dogs...

RPG-D bebehh!

I'd known about Corus for a bit because the header is soo spiffy and Kayte (Clipsed) kept flashin' it about in the Requesting RPGs forum (where I am a mod so I have to check it everyday) and I was like 'ooooh it's so pretty'. I wasn't interested in a Tortall RP because I used to be and they sucked balls but then I really wanted to join a site and the Corus thing was so pretty that I had to go click.

After rummaging around here and wondering if I'd get an idea for a character I decided to count the number of each different group, gender and magic. I found out that Wild Magic was the minority, as were commoners and servants. Non-white people were too, of course, and males. Hence I got a Carthaki male with Wild Magic who is a Palace Servant. After that I worked out his personality on the bus and voila!

RPG-D. I was looking at the FoTW and you were in it. I think that's how I found you. Don't even remember now!

Did you know looking up Corus Tortall on google I think the first three entries are for this site?

It was actually the pretty forum design that made me stay and look around. If it's designed nice I know the person running the forum actually cares about the subject matter.

I honestly... don't remember. Maybe it had something to do with Mary. Except, I think it was more of, I was looking for affiliates and Mary went 'OMG ROY *POUNCE*' in the Cbox that got me more interested. xD

I blame myself for everything. Oh what a pity *sarcasm*
