Hi! I've already posted in character but I suppose an introduction is an introduction. My name is Claire, I'm nineteen years old and native to Canada. Yes, I still live with my parents and - often irritating - but loveable younger brother.

I just finished my first year of college and it was quite an experience, to say the least. I spend a ridiculous amount of time on my laptop and though I do sometimes like to party it up and do spontaneous crazy things, I prefer to just stay at home and relax. I love movies, reading, shopping (aka, spending money I don't have) and just generally hanging out. I also have a slight obsession with hugging people and buying gifts. Don't ask why, it's random.

I have a certified phobia of elevators, planes, vomiting and being stuck in a small airless space. All of that just freaks me out.
I'm a tolerant, generous person but when I get angry .. it isn't really pretty. Ask my sibling, he knows best. But yeah, I love to make new friends and chat online so feel free to send me pointless PMs. Trust me, I like them.

Oh and my favourite book?
I like Crown/Court Duel by Sherwood Smith. Film? Memoirs of a Geisha.

HOLY CRAP. Okay, I know I should read your whole post, but I'm tired and about to go to bed an the only thing I saw was CROWN/COURT DUEL. You are, I swear, the only *other person I have heard of who has read that book. *flops down and hugs you around the legs* You're amazing.

I picked it up at an old, out-of-the-way bookshop that was in the process of being shut down. Amazing that someone else is aware of its existence!

As for flying... Well I'm on a plane at least twice a year so yeah. I've been in a plane 27 times *I think*. And I'm probably going for another trip soon so that makes 29. I'm used to it. My dad's always flying around... he gets sick. Poor guy.

I think I've read those books. Yes. I googled it for the covers. I think when I first read it I read them out of order. But I have read them.

The copy I have is the two books combined under the title Crown Duel. I think Sherwood Smith mentioned that in my edition the names were different too. *scratches head* It was a cute little book, I liked it when I was younger. lol, I do remember thinking that I didn't like that Vidanric was blonde. I think one time when I was reading it, it was around the time FotR came out. Long blonde hair = Legolas. And I didn't like the idea of Vidanric looking like Legolas. xD

What've you got against long blonde hair? *dies hair XD*

Actually I'm going to get blue streaks... but it's going to be after next week 'cause otherwise my teacher will throw a tantrum. I've been picked along with a few others to go to a special awards thing. Our school hosts it = ) Yay ^^;;

Haha, that's hilarious! I always thought I was the only one who pictured Vindanric as a brunette. He just seems like the tall, dark and mysterious type.

Meliara was always my favourite, but Bran annoyed me to no end.
