How do you know that you can trust the person sitting right next you on the bus, or in line at the coffee shop? Do you honestly know whom you're talking to? In the world of today you can never know. Amongst us live beings with varying degrees of power, most of them live right next door. They have, in the past, been known to use this power to disrupt our generic society, yet they also seem to strive for independence. Due to the nature of their existence, they have come to be called Mutants. A despicable term used to label those that manifest powers outside of human philosophies. They hide out within our society; careful to keep there powers deeply hidden so that they can continue to lead a normal life. But what is normality, when society begins to change and with it the future of the Earth is left to balance precariously upon a pinpoint.

Revolution Academy is the newly named Xavier Institute. Having exchanged many reliable hands in the past, the academy is a place for those to go for a home and to study for the world around them. It is an establishment that rivals the education and standards of Harvard in terms of academic achievement. Many of those misinformed believe this to be due to some projected weird happenings within. Yet people have come and gone through the grounds of the large estate in New York, to find nothing out of the ordinary, and the rumors were dismissed. Little did they realize that the academy was a place for mutants to shelter from the harsh tribulations of society. It was a place for them to gather and manifest their powers in a way that would benefit both themselves and others like them.

A Cure has been said to be the answer to all the worldly issues between the two literal races living on the earth. It suppresses the Mutant X gene, making mutants just like the humans. Correction; it made the mutants human. While it is advertises solely as voluntary, rumors have spread of soldiers stocking up on tranquilizers filled with the antibody.

The mutants once harbored no ill will toward human kind, in terms of wanting vengeance. They had just desired peace and harmony, where both races could be considered as equals. Some, however, are beginning see things in a different light. After a brutal attack against the school, the second in the last two years, the opinion of this cure has changed in the eyes of the students. A few students and X-Men were kidnapped in the process and unmentionable harm has taken place to everyone.

The current caretaker of the school has no intention of leaving. She proposes to keep the school a safe place, as safe as possible, despite past events. But with government agents sneaking around the school nearly everyday to receive a glimpse of the school, words are being exchanged, containing volatile ideas.
