Something is coming out of the darkness

The warning signs were there. The gradual contact with alien species increasing every year. The constant invasions of terror at Christmas. The Battle of Canary Wharf. Torchwood, UNIT and the mystery of Harold Saxon. They have all led to this. The warnings from those strange people making random prophecies are coming true. Yet these warnings haven't stopped. In fact they are getting louder. People are becoming alarmed by the number of people predicting horrible fates for their neighbours.

Torchwood and UNIT are kept busy as people begin to disappear and are found dead in mysterious circumstances. Strange sightings have been detected by the radars on the UNIT airborne technology - The Valiant. None can be traced, it seems to be coming from beyond the stars. Although no one knows where at the moment. But the prophecies are intriguing these bases too...Torchwood was led to believe that all the warnings of something coming from the darkness was about Abbaddon. But it seems they were wrong.

And there is the disturbing prophecy about the time period they are in which spells more danger for the people of Earth

It has finally come...

War is approaching Planet Earth and not just any old war...a war to top all wars....the greatest war even to top the Last Great Time War. This one is known as the Second Great Time War. And it looks to be bringing the end about to Planet Earth.

But Torchwood and UNIT are ready and they will fight. Other species in the universe are gathering to fight the forces that are coming through from the strange nether region known as The Underworld. Strange beasts are coming through and Earth will need all the help it can get...

Meanwhile Rose Tyler has crossed the Void back to her home world and she has become Head of Torchwood One and Torchwood Liason for UNIT. She is now in the thick of all this business in the quest to find the one man who can help her. With the help of Medical Officer Dr Martha Jones of UNIT maybe she can find him.
