foremost it is a place for writers to showcase their work, and to get feedback
from others. Like other forums of its type, there are battles to face off with an
opponent in, challenges to tackle, and some pretty sweet awards to win. But is
that really what writing is about? Beating others and showing off?

There'd be no more police, packed-parking lots,

Any experienced writer will tell you that writing is about something
else all together; that those things are just a few benefits of belonging to a
community of writers. Writing is about building a world, and leaving a legacy.
It’s about the story, the message behind the words spelled out on the screen or
the piece of paper. It’s about bettering this experience called life, and letting
our imaginations take us away.

Let me feel you, carry you higher

The way that it glows when you find it
The way it survives with its families,
Friends or its enemies

SECRETcrowds. is also about helping new writers
improve, and imparting the knowledge of more experienced authors to newer
ones. There’s a lot to learn, and everyone has something important to say and
convey to the writing community. Whether they’re chatting about life in general
in our forums, or discussing different methods of worldbuilding, or heatedly
discussing a new book, writing is about communication. It is through
communication that we better ourselves and our skills.
