Hola all, I'm Pear.
I like long walks on the beach and big dogs. Jk, jk.
I suck at introductions, but basically I've been roleplaying for a while, but I've been reading Tammy P books since I was a little kid. I've never been in a Tortall rp before so I'm excited about the prospect.
My character's a Dog, obviously, and he's kind of irritable. So you know, if that's what you're looking for send me a pm.
I'll probably start posting threads over the next couple days. Not today though, today is too hot. It is the first day of summer and I am melting, fingers are literally sticking to the keyboard.
So I'm gonna go swim! But I just wanted to introduce myself and all that. ;D

Hey! I'm Shell, I've been RPing for a while too now, and started reading TP in the seventh grade. Other than RPing, I like reading in general, playing the violin, and oodles of other things that I'm too lazy to list. Welcome to Corus!

Welcome~ =) I've known of TP since I was probably 13 or 14, but I didn't start reading her stuff till I was 17, I think. I did take out Sandry's Book from the Circle of Magic but I didn't read it. Suffice to say, I'm reading the series in full now since I just finished Song of the Lioness and Protector of the Small, and Trickster's Choice/Queen.
I'm sure you'll fit in here nicely. XD

Hi, I'm Mary. Like you I've been reading TP for agessss. First came across her books in 4th or 5th grade. I suppose I wasn't THAT little... but... still.
If Denmark gets irritated at happy people like Hugh I'd LOVE to do something with you = ) Hugh's in the Lower City as well, so it wouldn't be that hard to conjur up something. ^^;;

1. Howdy Shell! Thanks for the welcome!
2. Thanks and yeah I got into it really young, my parents actually read me the books. After of course the necessary Lord of the Rings, Narnia and To Kill a Mockingbird. xD My father was an english major & is now a lawyer which explains the random book chioces. And yeah, I hope I fit in, nothing like being a square peg in a round hole.
3. Hey Mary, coolio. And yes I do love interaction and yes my darling Den doesn't enjoy "shiny, happy people." xD Sounds like total fun.

And those books you mentioned rule. I haven't actually read TKAM but I've seen the movie. I was so confused.... *wacks people that talk in movies*
I've finally booked a date to see PC with one of my friends... yay.
Go the golden oldies!

To Kill A Mockingbird is an excellent book, definitely pick it up if you can, Mary. That also reminds me... I should purchase a copy for myself some time. I keep wasting gas going to Barnes & Noble and not buying books because I can't think of one to get. xD
