It is the year 2010 in the Universe 62408. It bears many resemblences to the commonly known universe of 616, but not completely. The Mutant Registration Act never happened, but that doesn't mean mutants have had it easy. If anything their 616 counter-parts have it easy. M-Day never happened and the humans have been dealing with a constantly rising Mutant population. Which now makes up roughly 51% of the population.

Just like in 616 the Civil War took place betwen meta-humans, but mutants were not involved. Since the registration was only for meta-humans. But once completed and those renegade meta-humans were forced to register, the government, under the new leadership of President Tony Stark turned their eyes towards the mutants. But like several Meta-humans before, the mutants refused to register, believing they were being denied their civil rights.

The Avengers took the side of the government and turned to their mutant members to lead the way of registration. But feeling their allegiance to the X-Men as more important they refused and were kicked out. This act caused many reprocussions, one being the end of the marriage of Storm and T'Challa. But the Fantastic Four, who had remained together during the civil war were split up. Johnny Storm left when his leader Mr. Fantastic tried forcing his son Franklin to register. With the help of the X-Men Johnny and Franklin were rescued.

Having no choice the Brotherhood and X-Men banded together and launched an attack on the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. But all didn't go as planned and the X-Men soon found themselves swarmed. As all seemed hopeless some unlikely help came from some very unexpected allies. Rallying to the X-Men's aid was Dr.Doom and Namor leading the likes of Carnage, Bullseye, Elektra, Johnny Storm and many other unlikely allies. Many of the X-Men escaped but the whereabouts of several were unknown. But another grave problem presented itself. Xavier had suffered many injuries and soon died of them. Meanwhile many X-Men and Brotherhood members were missing.

Having no choice the X-Men called on all neutral mutants and the older students to help them. But meanwhile the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. called on an ultimate ally. Sentinels and Sentinel Squad O*N*E*.

Will the X-Men and Brotherhood be able to fight them off as many are imprisoned, killed or turned? Or will the government and Avengers win the battle?
