So I just realized that my character is probably going to end up fighting someone sooner or later. Wether it be a drunken fist-fight or sword-play, and then it dawned on me that I have no real clue how to rp a fight fairly, umm, any pointers? Heheh.

Play by play. Being realistic. Working with the player you're fighting with so you can agree on minor godmoding instances. Shorter posts.

Yeah, that's another thing I'm kinda worried about. I don't know how'd I right three or more paragraphs for one action.

Well, the thing is you wouldn't need to write multiple paragraphs. I mean, three would probably be a very solid action post if you managed it. A character's thought process is always a good way to kill time. 'Okay, that failed... now what am I going to try...' You can take up plenty of post space with it and the great thing is, it only takes milliseconds if it were actually a real thought process in your character. xD

On the topic of what would be used, it would likely be either fists or knives - in your case, at least.

Don't forget his sword. Heheheh, well thanks for the help, I gotta better idea of it now, and think I could actually pull it off.

Eh, I dunno about short posts. I actually managed fights with 700 word posts throughout one time - really, it only ever happened that one time, and I don't know HOW we managed it, but we did - and they were still somehow fluid and it still felt like everything happened quickly. If that makes sense. XD What I mean is, short posts aren't absolutely necessary, but yes, you want short posts so you can to keep the action moving. Or, at least, don't load them down with unnecessary details.
Otherwise, I agree with what's been said. You take it one post at a time. Trade blows, dodge a few, and make sure that a few hit your character. I think it's had to describe how to write a fight scene that you're not controlling. At least, it is for me because it was something I picked up on early.

Well, by 'short' I meant in the three paragraph range. Jeez, all of this talk about fights really makes me want to get Lukie in a brawl more often. Bryn would slap or poison somebody and Em... lol Em would run away from a fight in a heartbeat. Or faint.
